About IMO Exam 2020

Science Olympiad Foundation ( SOF) conducting 6 Olympiad Exams annually that is NSO, IMO, NCO, ICO, IEO, IGKO.

These are scholarship exams with the purpose of finding genius and providing them with a unique competitive platform where they can proof themself.

IMO Exam Date 2020

IMO exam 2020 will be conducted by Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) in three sets.

SET – A 26^th and 27^th December 2020

SET – B 2^nd and 3^rd January 2021

SET – C 23^rd and 24^th January 2021

IMO Eligibility Criteria 2020

Level – 1: According to the SOF the students from Class 1^st to 12^th are eligible to appear for the 1^st level Olympiad Exams.

Level – 2: The Level 2 is conducted for students for class 3 to class 12. The qualifiers to second round would include following.

At International Level: Top 5% of candidates, class wise, who appear in the 1^st level exam internationally.

At Zone/ State Level: Top 25 rank holders form each zone and each class.

At School Level: Class topper where at least 10 students from a class appear in the exam & scores at least 50% qualifying marks.

SOF Registration Process 2020

The SOF IMO Registration is open for classes 1 to 12. Student can register through their respective school, in case school is unable to participate individual registration by student will be accepted.

Individual Students can Register using SOF Official Website, where they get a Student Individual Registration form, they need to fill this and submit it according to the SOF guideline.

The SOF will sent the prospectus to all the school that are registered with SOF. These Prospectus containing registration form of the students. The school then need to return filled form to SOF along with application fees before the last date.

IMO Syllabus 2020

SOF IMO Syllabus 2020: The syllabus of the IMO exam is the syllabus as prescribed by the CBSE, ICSE and various state boards.

Note -

· Questions of the Level 1 Olympiad exams will be 60% from the current class syllabus and 40% from the previous class syllabus.

· Example – Class 5 IMO exam will have 60% question from class 5 syllabus and 40% from the class 4 syllabus.

· Question in Achiever Section will be from current class syllabus only.

IMO Exam Centre 2020

According to the SOF guidelines, IMO exam 2020 – 21 will be conducted online at the residence of the students.

IMO Answer Key 2020

The SOF releases IMO answer Key for all the three sets on the official website. The IMO answer key is generally releasing 3 to 4 weeks after the SOF IMO exam is conducted.

IMO Result 2020

IMO results 2020 will be declared with in 8 weeks of the examination, the results are sent to the respective schools. Students can also check their results on the SOF official website.

IMO Cut Off 2020

Students can compare their calculated score with the IMO Cut Off 2020 to check if they have qualified for the IMO Level 2 exam.
